Welcome Reception
An informal reception will be held in the Harwood Room, Barnes Wallis
Building. The reception will be followed by a dinner in the Barnes
Wallis Restaurant.
Please note that evening dinner is not included in the conference
fee.
Monday 4 September, 19:15 hrs
Civic Reception
A drinks reception is being offered by the Manchester City Council.
The City Council is 10-15 minutes walking distance from the campus.
Directions on how to get there will be distributed onsite.
Tuesday 5 September, 19:15 hrs
Drinks Reception at the Bridgewater Hall
Kindly sponsored by the Journal in Modern Optics.
An informal reception will take place at the Bridgewater Hall on
Tuesday evening to provide networking opportunities for academics
and industry representatives. The Bridgewater Hall is located on
Lower Mosley Street in the heart of Manchester city centre.
Wednesday 6 September, 19:15 hrs
Conference Dinner at the Old Trafford, Manchester United FC
The reception is being Kindly sponsored by The
Institute of Physics Publishing.
The conference dinner will take place at the Manchester United Stadium
located at Old Trafford. The dinner will be preceded by a drinks
reception in the Manchester United Club Museum.
Bus transport to the Manchester United Stadium will be organised
for participants. Buses will depart from the conference venue.
